The Emmanuel Center (EC), created following an observation of the neglected, abandoned or orphaned children on the street for the most part following a war that has plagued our country since 1997; The misery or impoverishment of families (homes) and also following religious-spiritual beliefs and witchcraft.
So in 2012 Mr Mayal Alexis and Tshibadi Constant had a missionary vocation to help these children and with little means they had to create a shelter for children in suffering or in social rupture.
Historical
Created on 22 March 2012, the Emmanuel Center owes its existence to the very high number of abandoned or abandoned children in the streets of Kinshasa and throughout the country.
Mu by the will and natural love to help these children, Mayal after the loss of his work a few years before 2010, was a bitter observation of the wandering of vulnerable children and daughters in his neighborhood, so he sought Mainly due to the poverty of parents unable to send their children to school, juvenile delinquency leading to early pregnancies in underage girls, the phenomenon of street children, children called sorcerers rejected by their parents following religio spiritual beliefs …
With a few friends including Bruno, Adolphe Mwamba, Constant Tshibadi …, he created in his plot a structure for the supervision of street children and vulnerable mothers, called Les Ecoles du Cœur, , Carpentry, literacy and life education.
Towards the 2010s mr Mayal Alexis and Tshibadi Constant also thought of small children and babies abandoned here and there frustrating common sense. So they set to work by helping these children more in orphanage centers for at least two years, and after a bitter observation of maltreatment on these children in some orphanages in Kinshasa, they decided to create their own to give hope, joy And a better life similar to those of children living in the family home.
